The world’s largest automotive company is searching for a Senior Network Support & Automation Analyst to join their Data Network & Telecom Strategy team on a hybrid basis in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will provide operational support for network infrastructure across over 55 sites, drive network automation initiatives, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd-level operational support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Implement and maintain network automation tools (Ansible, Python, GNS3, etc.).
- Manage lifecycle tasks such as patching, hardware upgrades, and end-of-life replacements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot network issues, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS technologies.
- Ensure compliance with internal network policies and maintain necessary documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations for network changes and incident resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cisco CCNP certification (Routing and Switching or DataCenter); CCIE preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level network design and security.
- Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco FirePower).
- Proficiency in tools such as Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), F5 Load Balancers, and Wireshark.
- Expertise in network automation (Ansible, Terraform) and simulation platforms (GNS3, Cisco CML).
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ITIL, and NIST 800-53.
- Ability to travel 20%-30% domestically and internationally.
